Amazon products generally take center stage during Amazon Prime Day and the Eero Pro 6E is an excellent example of that. It also happens to be a pretty darn good router, earning an “Excellent” rating and an Editors’ Choice award. At $249, it’s also one of Amazon’s more expensive networking device, but it’s currently on sale for $159.99, or 36% off. There’s a lot to like about the Eero Pro 6E. We found it easy to install with good throughput performance, a surprisingly wide signal range given its design, and a built-in Zigbee radio. The Wi-Fi 6E support means it’s compatible with almost every modern device. It’s a solid all-around router that also doesn’t take up a ton of shelf space.

We were impressed with this router when we reviewed it. It offers multi-gig connectivity with truly excellent throughput speeds, no doubt thanks to the device’s eight massive antennas and 2GHz, quad-core processor. It takes a simpler approach to its feature set with only a few software features under the hood designed for gaming. For instance, you can give bandwidth priority to your game consoles for reduced latency.

The Nighthawk RAX120 is one of Netgear’s more expensive gaming-focused routers, and its hefty price tag was our number one complaint in our review. But this beefy router is currently on sale for $199.99, which is a savings of 56%, making it easier to recommend. The gamer-centric Wi-Fi 6 router is loaded with features, including a quad-core, 2.2GHz processor, 8×8 MU-MIMO data streaming, and a maximum theoretical output of 4.8Gbps on the 5GHz band. We noted excellent speeds, file transfer performance, and throughput in our review.
