For the past couple of weeks, we invited filmmakers and creators in general from all over the world to submit their applications and let us know why they would be a perfect fit for our NAB 2024 team. We were overwhelmed by the response and took time to closely look at EVERY submission, and now, it is time to announce the winners! Here at CineD, we have been covering industry trade shows for what feels like forever, and NAB is no exception. But this year, we were determined to add an additional layer of coverage by producing dedicated social media reels that will be filmed vertically. With the support of FUJIFILM, we were able to grow our team by offering two positions for filmmakers to join us. We promised the two winners will receive a FUJIFILM X-H2S camera, a FUJIFILM XF 18-120mm f/4 LM PZ WR lens, a $100 allowance per day, and four nights at a five-star hotel. Judging by the amount of submissions we received, we were excited to see how the community reacted to this opportunity, and by the nature of this initiative, we had to choose two winners. This was not a decision we took lightly, so first and foremost, a huge thank you goes out to all those who participated. And by the way, many of the entrants are FUJIFILM users themselves, so if you are also using a FUJIFILM camera for your professional work, we encourage you to submit your work to be covered in our “In the Spotlight with FUJIFILM” section. CineD has been a vital source of information for me as a filmmaker and business owner, so it feels rewarding to contribute to them. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that the camera we were using would be ours to keep. As an avid user of the FUJIFILM Mini 40 for street and family photography, I am eager to get my hands on one of their most innovative and exciting cameras to date, to incorporate into my video projects going forwardForrest ProctorMuch will be happening during this year’s NAB and we hope that you will have the time to follow us and enjoy our comprehensive coverage.
