How to send multiple photos on WhatsApp – our guide for iPhone, Android, and desktop

Now, of course, if you want to send two dozen pictures to someone on WhatsApp, it would be quicker and easier to send them all at once. Thankfully, WhatsApp lets you send a 100 photos on Android phones and 30 pictures on iPhones.  With that being said, the steps to send multiple photos on WhatsApp are slightly different on Android phones, iOS devices, and desktops. For clarity, we have separate sections for each type of device. How to send multiple photos on WhatsApp – Android and iOS Open WhatsApp on your phone, and then open the chat that you want to share multiple photos with. Alternate way of sending multiple photos  Another way to send multiple pictures is to share from your phone gallery. Here’s how to do it – Head over to Photos (iPhone) or Google Photos (Android) or your phone’s photo gallery. In the image gallery, select multiple photos that you want to share. On Android phone, long press on a photo that you send, and then you should be able to select multiple photos. On iPhones, click on the ‘Select’ option located at the top right corner and then proceed to select the pictures that you want to send. On Android phones, if you are using Google Photos, you should be able to see a ‘Share’ option at the bottom. Click on it, select WhatsApp, find the contact you want to send the pictures to, and then hit the send button.  On iPhones, click on the ‘Send’ icon that appears below and select ‘WhatsApp’ from the row of apps that appears. When WhatsApp opens, find the contact you want to send pictures to, and then hit the send button.  How to send multiple photos on WhatsApp – Desktop In this section, we are talking about how to send multiple photos using the WhatsApp desktop app as well as WhatsApp web.  Open the WhatsApp desktop app or WhatsApp web, and open the chat you want to send photos to. Click on the paperclip symbol located on the left side of the chat box. Once the menu appears, select the ‘Photos & videos’ option. On WhatsApp web, there is a ‘+’ symbol instead of the paperclip. Click on the + and then click on the ‘Photos & videos’ option. After you click on the ‘Photos & videos’ option, you will be able to select multiple photos to send. Just drag your mouse across the photos that you want to send and then hit the send arrow on WhatsApp. Frequently Asked Questions Can I share more than 30 photos on WhatsApp? Yes, if you are using WhatsApp on an Android phone, then you can share up to 100 photos at once. However, on iPhone, the limit is capped at 30 photos.
