This is 126 film format negative holder for use with Epson Perfection V700/V750/V800/V850 flatbed film scanners.

Completely redesigned model! This was CAD designed and manufactured for use with the obsolete 126 film format introduced by Kodak in 1963. Used commonly in Kodak “Instamatic” cameras, production of 126 film ended in 2008. 126 film was actually 35 mm in width so technically an Epson 35 mm OEM holder will work with the format. However, the image 126 cameras recorded was square and was also offset on the negative by 5 mm in height. Thus trying to scan a 126 negative in a 35 mm holder will result in cropping of the original image. This holder eliminates the cropping problem by allowing capture of the entire image.

Features: Unlike some designs, this holder features a recessed channel to hold your negative strip firmly which can help avoid scratches or trapped dust that other holders may cause.

Important:

This holder requires use of your stock 120 film holder for proper positioningAutomatic or “thumbnail” mode will not work with aftermarket film holders. You must scan in full manual mode.You may have to cut your negatives down to the size of the holder for scanning. If your Epson 120 OEM holder has non-removable AN-glass in it, you must use your film area guide for proper alignment
