It is a replacement remote fit for Apple TV players, not the original remote. It works with Apple TV A1427 A1469 A1378 A1294 MD199LL/AMC572LL/A MC377LL/A MM4T2AM/A MM4T2ZM/A Mac Music System.

The 5 TV buttons, Power Input/Source Volume up/down and Mute, can be programmed to work with most popular TVs, such as Samsung Sony Sharp Philips LG VIZIO Panasonic Toshiba Insignia etc.

In addition, the S-Button can be used/programmed to switch TV input/source and “”hold”” to sleep for the ATV box.

Has 4 Programmable Buttons: The Power and Volume buttons can be programmed to work with most popular TVs Samsung, Sony, LG, Sharp, Philips, Hisense, Panasonic, Insignia, Sanyo, Vizio, Toshiba, TCL ROKU and other TVs. [The TV buttons only control TV, not Apple box, thus a setup is needed]
Fast Forward/ Rewind: To fast forward, *long-press* on the right arrow button on the D-pad. A fast forward icon will be seen in the on-screen progress bar. To make it forward faster, press the right arrow again to progress at 2x speed. Press 3rd time to go to an even faster 3x speed. Also, simply click (press and release) the right arrow, it will skip the video playing by 10s. You can repeatedly click to skip in 10s increments. To rewind or skip backward, use the left arrow button instead.
Note: This is an IR remote, line-of-sight required. It is NOT Siri remote, NO Voice control, NO Touchpad function. Certain Apple Apps (e.g. Zwift) are designed only to use a touch interface and will not work with this remote!
Use 2 x AAA batteries, not included. Without any obstruction this remote can work from >25ft away. If you find this remote can only work within a close distance (e.g. <10ft) you must have something blocking the signals for your Apple box, such as you put the box in a cabinet or a closet, or behind the TV.
