AMD’s RX 7800 XT is a fantastic graphics card, offering excellent performance for 1440p gaming, with the power to stretch to 4K. It generally retails for more than its $499 MSRP, but this ASRock model can now be picked up for a new low price thanks to an Amazon coupon offer.
It’s not the very best graphics card on the market as far as pure performance goes, but we think it offers some of the best value right now. Anyone thinking about buying a new GPU for 1440p should definitely check out this promotion – get the RX 7800 XT for $20 under MSRP.

Looking to price history site Camelcamelcamel gives us a visual look at the price of this particular model on Amazon. It has been floating around the $499.99 mark for a while now, which is the recommend price tag. At the time of writing, we found it selling for just $489.99 – even ahead of the current data. On top of that though, be sure to apply the coupon for an additional $10 off.

Compare it with other custom AIBs and you’ll find that many still retail for well over the $500 mark, such as PowerColor’s Hellhound and Red Devil SKUs. Now with this additional coupon, you can get the RX 7800 XT for just $479.99 in comparison.

Looking at the specs of the 7800XT proves that it is a powerful GPU, ideal for both gaming and productivity workflows. Benchmark reviews demonstrate this further. The 16GB VRAM allows for solid performance at higher resolutions, making it more future proof than comparable cards like Nvidia’s RTX 4070 – this higher memory is also useful for productivity.
Considering that the 4070 and 4070 Super start at around $529 and $599 respectively, the 7800 XT is the clear winner here, unless you’re specifically looking for better framerates with ray tracing.
