Qualcomm Unveils Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 Mobile Platform



Qualcomm on Thursday introduced the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 Mobile Platform, the latest addition to the Snapdragon 7 series. This new Mobile Platform brings on-device generative AI capabilities, a 15% boost in CPU performance, and a 45% improvement in GPU performance, showcasing an impressive advancement in the series.

New Features and Capabilities

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 Mobile Platform is the first in the 7-series to support Wi-Fi 7 with HBS (High Band Simultaneous) Multi-Link, ensuring unparalleled connectivity. It also supports a wide range of AI models, including large language models (LLMs) such as Baichuan-7B, Llama 2, and Gemini Nano, fostering extraordinary entertainment capabilities.

Additionally, the platform features new select Snapdragon Elite Gaming features, such as the Game Post Processing Accelerator and Adreno Frame Motion Engine 2, enhancing gaming effects and upscaling gaming content for desktop-level visuals. Furthermore, it offers outstanding photography features with the industry-leading 18-bit cognitive ISP.
