The popular American audio brand Bose has expanded its SoundLink range lineup with the launch of the SoundLink Max Bluetooth speaker. Bose’s acclaimed SoundLink Bluetooth speakers are known for their excellent sound quality and the latest addition is no exception.
Bose’s new speaker is armed with a sturdy build, two custom-designed passive radiators, long-lasting battery life, and three transducers. Bose brings significant improvements in terms of design, sound, battery, and much more.
The SoundLink Max features a Bose Articulated Array with three transducers across the front of the speaker to deliver a spacious stereo speaker. Bose’s unique acoustics processing and two custom-designed passive radiators deliver incredible sound performance while providing a level of bass performance that defies the speaker size.
The same technology leverages Bose’s sound bars and proprietary digital signal that minimizes distortion so the speaker delivers full natural sound regardless of what the user is listening to. The Bose companion app lets you adjust EQ settings including bass, mid-range, and treble for a better listening experience.
In terms of dimensions, the speaker measures 10.42 inches wide, 4.73 inches, and 4.13 inches deep and weighs just under five pounds. Bose also integrated a removable rope handle into the SoundLink Max, making it easy to pick up and take on the go. There is also a large rope-carrying strap option that lets you carry the speaker over your shoulder. Bose also offers an additional range of colors for handle accessories to customize speakers’ look that suit your style.
Bose introduces the SoundLink Max, delivering big sound to start the party no matter where you go.
The SoundLink Max is rated at IP67 which protects against water, dust, rust, and shocks. Bose claims up to 20 hours of battery life on a single charge. You can even charge your smartphone via the speaker’s USB-C port, so you can enjoy a non-stop listening experience.
The rest of the highlights of the SoundLink Max include Google Fast Pair support for a seamless connectivity experience, AUX input that lets you enjoy tracks by connecting an audio jack to wired playback devices, SBC, AAC codec supports, and snapdragon sound with the latest Qualcomm aptX adaptive codec support which automatically adjusts for lossless streaming.
Starting at $399, the SoundLink Max will be available from June 4 and the pre-order will kick off from May 14. The new Bose speaker is available in Black and Blue Dusk color options.
