Arlo is stepping up its home security game with the launch of the Arlo Security Tag, priced at $19.99 for a set of two. This handy gadget allows users to disarm their Home Security System with a simple tap on the Keypad Sensor Hub or the second-generation Arlo Video Doorbell. It can also arm the system in the same easy manner.
Compact and lightweight, the Security Tag can be attached to a key ring for convenience. Custom access schedules can be set up for housekeepers, caregivers, or dog walkers through the Arlo Secure App.
The Arlo Home Security System itself is a powerhouse of protection. Available in two packages—$199.99 for the two-sensor package and $299.99 for the five-sensor package (currently on sale for $149.99)—this system is versatile and easy to set up with no contracts.
The system includes the All-in-One Multi Sensor, which can detect motion, door/window openings, water leaks, freezing temperatures, lighting changes, and smoke/CO alarm sounds.
The Keypad Sensor Hub, another integral part of the system, serves as the central control point. It allows users to manage their security system with a PIN code, includes a built-in siren, and has sensors to detect motion and listen for smoke and CO alarms. For those concerned about power or internet outages, an optional cellular and battery backup accessory is available.
Subscribing to Arlo Safe and Secure adds another layer of protection, offering 24/7 professional monitoring by medically trained security experts. Subscribers also benefit from the enhanced Emergency Response feature, enabling quick dispatch of police, fire, or medical responders with just one tap.
The Arlo Video Doorbell, starting at $79.99 for HD resolution and $129.99 for 2K, enhances home security further. It features two-way audio, night vision, an integrated siren, and a 180-degree field of view, allowing users to see visitors head-to-toe and monitor packages on the ground. The doorbell also includes visitor messaging and weather resistance.
The Pro 5S 2K Security Camera is Arlo’s latest advanced security offering, priced at $249.99. It features tri-band connectivity through dual-band Wi-Fi and Arlo SecureLink technology.
This camera provides 2K video with HDR, color night vision, a 160-degree viewing angle, and an integrated spotlight and siren. It also boasts increased battery life, up to 30% longer than the Pro 4, with a new low power mode and compatibility with Arlo SecureLink-enabled devices for further battery conservation.
