A well-known cleaning solutions maker iRobot has unveiled its most advanced robot vacuum and mop, the Roomba Combo 10 Max Robot with AutoWash Dock. The iRobot offers its first multifunctional AutoWash Dock that automatically refills and recharges the robot, washes and dries the moping pad, empties debris, and self-cleans, so users can worry less about maintaining the robot while keeping the floors clean. The brand says the dock can hold up to 60 days of dirt and up to seven days of water to wash the mop pad and self-clean.
iRobot’s new 2-in-1 Roomba Combo 10 Max offers extraordinary dust and fiber pickup capabilities that effortlessly banish dirt from carpets, hard floors, and hard-to-reach corners. The robot has an edge-sweeping brush and a dual rubber brush that adjusts to different floor types and prevents pet hair tangles while providing strong power-lifting suction and deep-clean mopping.
The company also integrated its new Enhanced Dirt Detect technology that recognizes and cleans the dirtiest areas effortlessly. “With the Roomba Combo 10 Max, iRobot is leveraging more than 20 years of floor cleaning innovation and expertise to bring customers our most powerful, independent, and smartest robot yet,” said Barry Schliesmann, chief product officer at iRobot.
The vacuum robot runs on iRobot OS out of the box. With its PrecisionVision Navigation tech and object detection capabilities, the Roomba Combo 10 Max easily navigates under and around furniture while avoiding obstacles like stairs, cords, socks, shoes, and other household items.
Additionally, the robot vacuum cleaner will also get Matter support in Q4 2024, which will enable communication across smart home devices, mobile apps, and cloud services. You also get Google, Alexa, and Apple Siri voice assistant support.
The Roomba Combo 10 Max starts at $1399 and is now available for pre-order in the US and Canada on iRobot.com, while the open sales will begin in August 2024.
